Information used by the reflection app
The app processes your email, account identifier, username and optional display name; entries and titles you submit; AI reflections and chats; saved symbols, themes and grammar entries; and community activity you choose to create. Supabase provides the existing account, database and server-function services.
AI processing
When you ask for an AI reflection, analysis or conversation, relevant entry or conversation content is sent through our server functions to OpenAI to generate the response. Responses and related content may be saved to provide your history. Do not submit someone else’s confidential information or information you do not want processed by these services. AI reflections can be inaccurate and are not medical or mental-health care.
Private and shared content
New reflection entries are marked private by default in the app. Choosing public or community sharing makes that content available to the relevant audience. Other people may copy material you share. Operational systems and authorized providers can process private material to supply the requested features; private does not mean that only your device holds it.
Usage data and website services
The reflection app records usage events such as sign-in, entry creation and entry viewing, including internal user or entry identifiers. It uses browser storage for sessions, preferences and, when necessary, queued usage events. The existing app also loads Google Analytics for website measurement. Vercel hosts the website. Hosting and server functions process connection and diagnostic logs; those logs may include submitted or generated content. The public Your Turn, privacy, support, terms and deletion pages do not load these app analytics scripts.
Use and recipients
Information supports accounts, saved reflections, AI responses, community features, troubleshooting and support. Service providers include Supabase, OpenAI, Vercel and Google Analytics. Providers may process data outside your country. We may disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service. We do not sell your reflection entries.
Retention and requests
Saved content and account records are retained while needed for the service or until a valid deletion request. Operational records and restricted backups may persist for security, legal or provider retention requirements. Contact us for access, correction, a copy or deletion of your account and entries. Explain that your request concerns the reflection app; deleting a Giggl game account does not currently delete this separate account. We may verify ownership without asking for your password.
Your rights and choices
Use private entry settings and avoid sharing sensitive material publicly. You can stop submitting content or sign out. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, obtain a copy of, object to or restrict processing, withdraw applicable consent, or complain to a regulator. Contact us to exercise those rights. Where applicable, processing relies on providing requested services, legitimate interests in operating and securing them, consent where required, and legal obligations.
Children and updates
This reflection service is not intended for children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information without appropriate permission. We update this notice as practices change and will communicate material changes through appropriate channels.
